Our hibiscus fruits come from smallholder farmers in Ecuador's Amazon rainforest. GUYA works exclusively with smallholder farmers who cultivate in so-called chakras (permaculture) or chakra plots (mixed cropping) .

Effects of hibiscus
Hibiscus has proven blood pressure lowering properties, reduces inflammation, counteracts bacterial infections, strengthens liver function, and aids weight loss.
In addition, anthocyanins act as extremely powerful antioxidants (stronger than vitamins C and E) and thus help fight free radicals.

preparation
Preparing our Guayusa Hibiscus tea is simple because it doesn't become bitter.
The brewing time therefore depends more on how intense you want the flavor to be. After about 10-15 minutes, most of the active ingredients will have dissolved into the water.
1-2 teaspoons per 400ml glass are enough.
