Oranges from Ecuador
Our oranges come from the forest gardens of Kichwa Indigenous communities. By adding this product to our range, GUYA provides additional sources of income for the communities. We know our farmers personally, and on YouTube you can find short documentaries about the harvest, cultivation and processing.
Orange tea is an unexpectedly delicious sweet drink.

Health properties
Our bitter orange tea brings an aromatic citrus note to your infusion. On its own, it contains no caffeine. Depending on the amount and steeping time, fruity and more bitter notes come through – especially interesting if you like creating your own tea blends.
Orange contains aromatic oil components and secondary plant compounds. In tea, dried ingredients are used as an infusion; this differs in taste and composition from a glass of fresh orange juice. Above all, enjoy its aroma and distinctive bitter-orange note.
Combine small amounts with PURE, DARK or ginger and adjust the intensity to your taste. More orange means more citrus character, not more caffeine. A shorter steep can limit bitter notes. For a caffeine-free blend, combine orange with lemongrass.

The story behind your GUYA
Discover ORANGE TEA in the video: learn more about the ingredients, where they come from and ideas for your own GUYA ritual.
Our oranges are sustainably grown in the permaculture forest gardens of the Kichwa indigenous people in Ecuador to protect the biodiversity of the rainforest.
The varieties grown here are best harvested while the peel is still green-orange. They are ideal for your own tea blends or brewed on their own as an infusion. They give a delicious fruity-sweet taste.
GUYA now also offers this ingredient as a single product, without Guayusa to support the farmers in Ecuador by sourcing a wider range of their products and to give you the opportunity to enjoy high-quality ingredients.
GUYA’s philosophy is to promote biodiversity. Join us in this effort and explore the flavours of the Amazon rainforest!
You can be sure that we’re more than just resellers of ingredients. On our YouTube channel you’ll find short documentaries and vlogs featuring our farmers in Ecuador. GUYA founder Sebastian gives you a transparent look at how we work together and how your Guayusa is produced.
